Are Your Products Eco-Friendly?
We use PURO detergent and softener, picked because they're effective, gentle, and better for Bali's environment.
What we use:
- Eco-friendly, biodegradable detergents: derived from natural surfactants, not petroleum-based chemicals
- Biodegradable fabric softener: breaks down naturally rather than persisting in waterways
- Low-fragrance: less scent left in the fabric you wear
Why this matters in Bali:
Bali's water systems flow directly to the ocean and rice paddies. Harsh synthetic chemicals in laundry products accumulate in the environment over time. Eco-friendly, biodegradable products are a small but meaningful choice.
Sensitive skin:
Our standard detergent is low-fragrance, not fragrance-free, and we don't offer a fragrance-free alternative. Got a known fragrance allergy? Message us on WhatsApp before you book. We can leave out the softener if you prefer.
Packaging:
We pack laundry in single-use plastic. Want yours returned in your own bag without plastic? Tell us at drop-off.
Temperature:
We use lower wash temperatures wherever care labels allow. That reduces energy use and extends garment life.
