Hand-wash care for your delicate pieces
Silk, kebaya, lingerie, and fine fabrics, washed by hand in cool water, air-dried, and hand-finished. Drop off at any Easy Day Laundry shop, or add it to a pickup.
What delicate care covers
Some pieces are too fine for a normal machine load. We wash these by hand in cool water. We dry them flat or on a line, then press them by hand.
This is not dry cleaning. Tailoring, leather, suede, wool, and gowns need solvent cleaning. That goes through our dry cleaning service. Not sure which yours needs? Bring it in and we advise.
Delicate pieces we hand-wash in-house
Silk hand wash
Shirts, blouses, scarves, and lingerie washed by hand in cool water, air-dried flat, hand-finished.
Kebaya, sarong, and ikat
Traditional Balinese wear cleaned piece-by-piece. No mixed loads, no rough cycles.
Dresses and blouses
Chiffon, lightweight cotton, linen, and lined day dresses. Hand-washed where safe, ironed to finish.
Dress shirts and formalwear
Cotton and linen dress shirts washed, pressed, and returned on hangers. Hand-finished cuffs and collars.
Stain pre-treatment
Sunscreen, red wine, oil, ink, and red dust treated by hand before any wash.
Delicates and lingerie
Mesh bag, cool wash, air-dry. No tumble drying, no harsh agitation.
How it works
Point out the delicate items
Tell us at drop-off or in your pickup notes which pieces need hand-wash care. We set them aside from the main load.
Washed and finished by hand
Cool-water hand wash, air-dried flat or on a line, then pressed by hand. No tumble drying, no rough cycles.
Back with the rest of your order
Your delicates come back folded or on hangers alongside the rest of your laundry.
