Our promise on every order

Easy Day Laundry handles thousands of orders a month, and we take real care with every one. On the rare occasion something goes wrong, our Care Promise covers it automatically.

How we protect your clothes

The best protection is preventing damage in the first place. Here is what every order goes through before it comes back to you.

Sorted before every wash

We separate every load by fabric weight and care-label requirement. Whites and blacks are sorted on request only. Our staff will check with you at drop-off or pickup.

One load, one customer

Your order is washed in its own load. Your clothes never share a machine with someone else's.

Plant-based detergent and softener

Low-fragrance, biodegradable, gentle on skin and fabric.

Pockets checked

We inspect every pocket before the wash. Anything we find is set aside and returned to you.

Delicates in mesh bags

Silk, lace, lingerie, and embellished pieces go into a mesh laundry bag before washing. Anything with loose buttons, beads, or trim goes in too. For pieces that look too fragile for the machine, we message you to recommend hand wash.

Inspected before processing

Every order is inspected before we start. If we spot a stain or tear, we inform you on WhatsApp prior to treatment. For every customer, every order.

If something goes wrong, here is what we cover

No matter the professionalism and care, items can occasionally be damaged or lost through human error. In those cases, our Care Promise applies:

How it works: a few examples

A shirt worth IDR 300,000 is damaged

Calculation: 30% × IDR 300,000 = IDR 90,000

Payout: IDR 90,000 , under the per-order cap.

A dress worth IDR 500,000 is damaged

Calculation: 30% × IDR 500,000 = IDR 150,000

Payout: IDR 150,000 , under the per-order cap.

A silk top worth IDR 1,200,000 is damaged

Calculation: 30% would be IDR 360,000, capped at IDR 300,000

Payout: IDR 300,000 , per-order cap applies.

3 shirts worth IDR 400,000 each are damaged in the same order

Calculation: 3 × (30% × IDR 400,000) = IDR 360,000, capped at IDR 300,000

Payout: IDR 300,000 , per-order cap applies.

How to file a claim

Report within 48 hours of receiving your order. Most claims are resolved the same day.

Message us within 48 hours

WhatsApp us with photos of the affected item and a description of the issue. Include the order date and your pickup location.

Share the item value

Send your receipt or purchase confirmation if you have one. If not, we use the average market price for an equivalent item.

Receive payout

Approved claims are reimbursed within 3 business days by cash, bank transfer, or store credit.

What is not covered

We want to be clear up-front. The Care Promise covers damage we caused, not these:

Shrinkage

Cotton, wool, and linen can shrink slightly even under correct laundering. This is a property of the fabric, not damage.

Holes and tears

Holes, tears, and fraying in worn or thinning fabrics are not covered, whether present before washing or arising during a normal cycle on a fragile item.

Fading and bleeding

Gradual fading from age, sun exposure, or accumulated washes is not covered. Dye transfer between items washed together in a mixed load is also not covered. If your laundry items are marked "mixed" on the receipt, ask the staff to separate whites and colours to prevent bleeding.

Items left in pockets

Cash, electronics, jewellery, keys, and other personal items left in pockets. Please check before handing over.

Care Promise FAQ

Yes. Every wash, dry, iron & fold, hand-wash specialty care, shoe care, and bag care order is automatically covered. There is no opt-in step and no extra fee.
We cover 30% of the item's value. Compensation per order is capped at IDR 300,000, whether one item or several.
If you have a receipt or purchase confirmation, we use the original purchase price. If not, we use the average market price for an equivalent item, taking the lower end of the range.
Claims must be reported within 48 hours of receiving your items. After 48 hours, items are considered accepted as returned and the Care Promise no longer applies.
The compensation cap is IDR 300,000 per order regardless of an item's original price. For high-value items like silk pieces, designer wear, or ceremonial outfits, tell us at drop-off. We will flag them for hand-finishing and inspection. Together we decide whether to accept the item under standard terms.
Please empty your pockets before handing over your laundry. We are not responsible for cash, jewellery, electronics, keys, or other items left in pockets. If we find valuables during our pre-wash check, we set them aside and return them to you.
We treat every stain as a standard part of the wash. Most lift with our process. Old, set-in, or chemical stains may not come out completely. We will not consider partial stain removal as damage. The item arrived with the stain.
Approved claims are reimbursed by cash, bank transfer, or as credit toward your next order. Reimbursement is processed within 3 business days of claim approval.
Receipts marked "mixed" mean the order was washed as one load. Dye transfer between items in a mixed wash is not covered by the Care Promise. To prevent bleeding, ask at drop-off for whites and colours to be washed separately. Separate washing counts as two machine loads.
