Best Laundry in Canggu: 5 Services, Prices & Pickup (2026)

Quick answer (verified June 2026): Five laundry services cover Canggu with daily pickup: Easy Day Laundry Canggu, Heavenly Laundry (6km pickup radius), Bali Laundry (villa and hotel delivery), Lazy Laundry (pickup-only), and Swastee Eco Laundry (no ironing services). Easy Day Laundry Canggu's 2-3 day standard tier starts at Rp 40,000 for 0-3kg with wash, dry, iron, and fold included, plus a Rp 35,000 flat pickup.

Canggu has laundries on every gang. Small shops line the back lanes, and most villas have a laundry recommendation pinned to the fridge. The problem isn't finding one. It's knowing which one returns your clothes on time, properly ironed, and without that damp smell.

Below are five laundry services worth comparing in Canggu, judged on what actually matters here: transparent pricing, turnaround you can trust, ironing quality, and pickup that reaches your address. First, the markers that separate a good Canggu laundry from a disappointing one.

What separates a good Canggu laundry

Six things tell you most of what you need to know before you hand over your bag.

Transparent pricing. Rates should be posted, not mumbled when you ask. Surprise fees at collection are common at the cheaper shops. Weight tiers are clearer than open per-kilo rates, because you know the cost before you drop off.

Turnaround you can trust. Good shops commit to a return time and hold it. A vague "when it's ready" is a warning sign. Always confirm the exact time at drop-off.

Ironing included. Nobody wants laundry back wrinkled. Many cheap shops skip ironing to keep the headline rate low. Ask before you hand over the bag. At Easy Day Laundry, hand-ironing is included in every tier.

Pickup and delivery. Saves two trips, which matters if you're not walking distance from a shop. Coverage varies. Some services reach all of Canggu, others a tight radius.

Detergent quality. Harsh chemicals fade colors and irritate skin. Eco-friendly options exist but stay uncommon. Easy Day Laundry uses eco-friendly, biodegradable detergent and softener at every shop.

Reviews. Google Maps is the most reliable read in Bali. Look for patterns on timing and clothing condition, not one-off pricing complaints.

The five laundry services worth comparing in Canggu

Easy Day Laundry Canggu

Our shop sits in the heart of Canggu, right next to Atlas Beach Club and FINNS Beach Club, with daily pickup runs through Batu Bolong, Berawa, Echo Beach, Pererenan, Nelayan, Babakan, and Umalas. Find the shop on Google Maps.

Wash, dry, iron, fold on the 2-3 day Standard tier: Rp 40,000 for 0-3kg, Rp 60,000 for 3-5kg, Rp 100,000 for 5-8kg, Rp 120,000 for 8-10kg. The same ladder applies at every shop. 24-hour service starts at Rp 60,000 for 0-3kg. Five-hour express starts at Rp 110,000 for 0-3kg. Pickup is Rp 35,000 flat round trip.

Eco-friendly, biodegradable detergent. Hand-ironing included in every tier. Pockets checked before every wash. One load per customer, no pooling. Every order is protected by the Care Promise: 30% reimbursement on damaged items, capped at IDR 300,000 per order, claims within 48 hours. We publish the policy openly at /care-promise. The 4.5★ aggregate across 120 Google reviews at June 2026 covers the full network.

For recurring loads, the weekly subscription suits nomads and households alike.

Heavenly Laundry

Canggu-based, with a 6km pickup radius that covers most of the area. Headline rates exclude a 21% service surcharge. Two Day Service at Rp 25,000 per kg headline becomes Rp 30,250 effective. One Day Express at Rp 50,000 per kg becomes Rp 60,500. Free pickup within 6km above a Rp 150,000 minimum order.

Iron is included across every tier. Filtered water and temperature-controlled indoor drying help in the rainy season. Five-star hotel training and a deposit-tier loyalty program define its upmarket positioning. The published 24-hour damage-report window and Rp 150,000 compensation cap are worth knowing before you commit.

Bali Laundry

Villa and hotel delivery only, no walk-in shop. Three tiers: Next Day at Rp 35,000 per kg, Express 7 hours at Rp 50,000 per kg, and Super Express 3 hours at Rp 80,000 per kg (Super Express is geo-limited, so most Canggu orders run Next Day or Express). 3kg minimum across all tiers.

Pickup is bundled into the per-kg rate. Iron and fold included. Reception-coordinated pickup with WhatsApp photo updates at each stage. 4.9★ on Trustpilot across 500+ reviews. The easiest fit for short-stay rental managers who want zero coordination.

Lazy Laundry

Pickup-only across Canggu. Three tiers: 24 hours at Rp 30,000 per kg, 12 hours at Rp 40,000 per kg, 5 hours at Rp 50,000 per kg. 3kg minimum. Free pickup until 10pm daily. No shop drop-off.

Wash, dry, fold included. Ironing is not part of the standard tier, and no separate iron tier is published. On-arrival weighing avoids surprise pricing. The cheapest free-pickup option in the cluster if you don't need ironing or will iron at home.

Swastee Eco Laundry

Reaches Canggu from its Canggu and Kerobokan locations. 24/7 self-service plus full-service drop-off. Flat-rate by load size: Drop-off Wash Rp 35,000 normal (1-5kg) or Rp 60,000 big (6-10kg). Drop-off Dry the same. A full wash plus dry on a normal load is Rp 70,000 before add-ons. Warm water Rp 10,000, hot water Rp 20,000, laundry bag Rp 15,000.

Swastee Eco Laundry does not iron. Wash and dry only. The brand runs the most credible eco claim on the island: biodegradable detergent, filtered water, zero single-use plastics. For sustainability-first households who iron at home, that's a real differentiator.

Per-kilo vs per-piece pricing in Canggu

Most Canggu shops charge per kilo, roughly Rp 8,000 to Rp 20,000 depending on speed. Specialty items like shoes, bags, delicates, and formalwear are priced per piece because they need different handling.

Watch the cheap per-kilo rates that exclude ironing or skip softener. The headline looks low, but the result comes back wrinkled, stiff, or smelling of chemicals. Weight tiers are the more honest read, which is why Easy Day Laundry prices by bracket. You know the cost before you drop off.

Turnaround: express, 24-hour, and 2-3 days

Express (5 hours). The choice for a quick reset. Not every shop offers it, and those that do count the five hours from operating hours, not the clock. Drop off late and the balance carries to morning. Confirm the return time.

24 hours. The standard at most quality shops. Drop off in the morning, collect the next.

2-3 days. Economy pricing, same wash quality. You pay less because the shop has more time to process.
